Collective Mye-DACI Might!

Fourteen Mye-InfoBank members from ten European countries – and a local profile-seeking black cat – gathered together in Belgrade, Serbia, this October to focus extensively on Mye-DACI research, a major translational activity of our working groups 2 and 3. Hosted by Radmila Janković and Biljana Bufan (University of Belgrade), the series of presentations was followed by constructive and intense discussions on the image analysis of the already-completed multiplex immunostainings of myeloid cells markers in tissues of various diseases associated with chronic inflammation (DACI), with significant input from pathologists. This very productive meeting resulted in conclusions important for our Action’s image analysis strategy and future directions. Participants included Sven Brandau, Joanna Cichy, Espen Bækkevold, Karine Serre, Caroline Bouzin, Vinton Cheng, Nicola Graham, Güneş Esendağlı, Neşe Ünver, Diana Domańska, Mattia Bugatti, and Ljiljana Vučković.
