Atlas Prepping for Hamburg

The rapid advancement of single-cell transcriptomics and the consequent vast amount of single-cell data now available across tissues and diseases have opened unprecedented opportunities for Mye-InfoBank. In particular, our COST Action is uniquely positioned to leverage disease-specific single-cell atlases to identify and characterize myeloid cell subsets and their molecular signatures in DACI (diseases associated with chronic inflammation).
Mye-InfoBank's bioinformatic group triangle led by Markus List (Technical University Munich), Francesca Finotello (University of Innsbruck), and Florent Petitprez (University of Edinburgh) revisited the current status of the single-cell atlas projects and resolved open issues in the data set integration pipeline. This synergistic fine-tuning of computational analytical processes in Freising, Germany, has thus laid the important groundwork for the final COST atlas meeting in Hamburg in August 2025.
