Tony Paul, a young investigator from Instituto de Investigación Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP), Badalona, ES, attended this Training School and posted the following about it on LinkedIn:
"Just wrapped up an incredible experience at the Mye-InfoBank COST Action Training School on "Brainstorming on the Analysis of Multiplex Imaging" in Leuven, Belgium! (October 3rd and 4th, 2023).
Over the past two days, I had the privilege of joining brilliant researchers from across Europe to delve into the fascinating world of multiplex image analysis. We probed the specifics of the techniques employed in multiplex imaging, the challenges we all face, and most importantly, how to overcome these obstacles to extract invaluable insights from complex data. Sharing our experiences and expertise, we explored various software tools and methodologies to tackle this cutting-edge field of research.
During this fantastic opportunity, I had the honor of presenting the ground breaking work of our group (Innate Immunity lab, led by Dr. Maria Rosa Sarrias), at Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP). Our team's commitment to advancing research and pushing the boundaries of knowledge in immunology was met with enthusiasm and support.
This event has opened up exciting possibilities for our lab as we express our keen interest in implementing multiplex imaging systems. With these new tools at our disposal, we're poised to take our research to new heights and achieve even more impactful results.
I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Mye-InfoBank COST Action for making this event possible and for fostering collaboration and innovation in the field. Thank you and congratulations to Prof. Gianluca Matteoli and Dr. Karine Serre for their skilful organization and outstanding efforts in bringing together this diverse and dynamic group of researchers. Here's to the future of multiplex imaging and the countless discoveries yet to come!"
