Daniel Naumovas
Daniel Naumovas studied at the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) in Lithuania and obtained a Master's Engineering degree in Nanobiotechnology. As a young scientist, he has already given more than 100 interviews about different scientific topics oriented at a broad audience.
Currently, Daniel is the head of the biobank and a senior medical biologist at the Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos. He leads a group of 10 young researchers whose main study focus is biobanking, ex-vivo cancer studies, drug screening, new biomarker research, the design of new molecular diagnostic tests, and single-cell genomics/transcriptomics.
Mye-InfoBank is Daniel’s first COST Action, and he is involved in the Mye-Dialogue working group where he is using his communication skills in media. He is also a part of the Mye-Disease working group where he is contributing with his biobanking experience.
